Root Canal Symptoms

Single Visit Root Canals

Root Canal Symptoms

Don’t suffer another day with pain. When you experience a toothache, it’s often a sign of infection. The infection can be caused by trauma, decay, cracks and chips. Symptoms of the infection may include a fracture or swelling. Symptoms also may include sensitivity to chewing, pressure, or temperature.

If you experience any of these symptoms, do not delay treatment. In order to prevent the spread of infection and the loss of your tooth, a root canal may be necessary. If you think you may need treatment, call us at 203-975-0633 or submit the contact form below.

I really enjoy going to Dr. Gardell. He is always willing to take the time to sit down with me to listen to my concerns and provide his opinion. I like that he never tries to sell his patients like some other dentists do. He is concerned with providing the best care for his patients and not a payche

Root Canal Procedure

Dr. Gardell has been performing Root Canal Treatment, including Molar Root Canals, for twenty-five years. Dr. Gardell’s expertise, together with our 3-D Imaging technology and single visit root canal system, ensures a painless and comfortable patient experience. Dr. Gardell typically completes the root canal procedure in an hour. A root canal and crown procedure are completed in less than two hours.

Root Canal Technology

An ideal root canal starts with an accurate diagnosis. In our office, we use the Sironal 3-D Imaging System to diagnose root canal symptoms. Three-dimensional imaging of the canal system enables Dr. Gardell to view root anatomy that otherwise would be missed with a two-dimensional x-ray. With the high resolution imaging capabilities of our 3-D system, he can detect lesions, infections, and fractures with more accuracy.

Having diagnosed the precise source of the symptoms, Dr. Gardell can clean and seal the canals and complete your root canal in one visit, usually in about an hour.  And if a crown is necessary, our CEREC in-office digital crown system allows us to make the crown in the same visit as the root canal.

Root Canal Cost

How much does a Root Canal cost?

Because no two teeth are alike, root canal cost varies on a case by case basis. During your first appointment, Dr. Gardell will provide you with a detailed treatment plan, including pricing. A Root Canal is an investment, and it is essential to select a root canal expert with the skills, technology, and experience you trust.

Is a Root Canal covered by my insurance?

Dental insurance companies typically cover root canal treatment. We can coordinate your coverage with your insurance company and submit a pre-authorization for your root canal. If you do not have insurance, or your insurance company does not cover root canals, we offer a variety of payment and financing options.

Can I get a quote for my Root Canal?

We provide patients with a root canal consultation that includes a comprehensive treatment plan and pricing. Please call us at 203-975-0633, email us, or use the contact form to schedule your consultation.
